On a deeper level, Where the Earth Is Soft Enough reflects my own journey as a migrant. As I paint, I think about adaptation, learning a new culture, a new language, new ways of being. There is a parallel between my artistic process and my lived experience. Both require fluidity, resilience, and an openness to transformation. In creating these works, I explore not only the shifting landscapes of nature but also those within myself—the constant negotiation between past and present, between belonging and becoming.

This collection is an invitation to reflect on transitions, on the beauty of impermanence, and on the spaces we cultivate, both within ourselves and in the world around us. Through these works, I embrace the delicate yet powerful process of change, of finding balance in the unfamiliar, and of discovering new roots where the earth is soft enough to grow.
